Greetings from 33000 feet in the air! What a week it has been, first I got the flu! Well that happened about mid-last week – hit me like woah. One day I woke up coughing and not feeling 100%, the next day as I made early morning deliveries through that bomb cyclone of a snow storm, I came home to a 102.5 degree fever. I honestly can say that I don’t think I’ve ever even had the flu before, every other illness you can think of – common cold, sinus infection, strep, bronchitis, did it all. The flu was a first and one I hope not to repeat for a long time. So after barely getting over it, I had to jump on a plane to head to Vegas for the annual CES Convention. If you’ve been up and up on your tech news then you probably read that there was a blackout right in the middle of it. Yup! As I was filming some Instagram live for my client with Cat Cora (she is so nice by the way!), the entire hall blacked out. It was crazy and weird and funny at the same time. Guess too much juice was running through the whole thing? Still haven’t heard the exact reason for the blackout.
Now here I am, on a plane heading back to New York, writing our weekly meal plan and I haven’t even been home or barely well enough to cook! So while my life is crazy, I hope things are calm on your end and you can sit down to some delicious meals with your family this coming week!
New to our meal plan? This is how it works: I’ve joined together with a few of my favorite bloggers to bring you a weeks worth of dinner ideas! The concept is easy, every Friday check back here (or your email!) to find a new weekly meal plan consisting of 5 healthy-ish seasonal dinners and 2 extras – which can range from sides, desserts, drinks etc. . . This weekly meal plan will help you plan out your shopping list for your weekly trip to the grocery store or farmer’s market and get organized for the week ahead.
