Last year when I traveled to London for vacation I had two goals – well, two beyond the usual sightseeing and eating all the foods. It was to drink Pimm’s Cups whenever the chance arose and find as many alternative bottles to Pimm’s as I could.

If you aren’t in the know, Pimm’s No. 1 is just one variety, based on gin! Back in the day you could have the No.2 Cup based on Scotch, No.3 on Brandy, No.4 on rum and so on and so forth.

I had no idea what or if I could find any of the varieties, but I knew it would be a fun challenge. What I didn’t know at the time was that Pimm’s comes out with flavored varieties every summer!

So just as easy as it is to find Pimm’s No.1, you can find Pimm’s flavored with strawberry or elderflower & blackberry. You can bet those bottles came home with me and I did manage to get try the strawberry version at a pub one evening.

Ladies and gents, I was sold. I mean, I was sold on Pimm’s beforehand but the extra sweet strawberry boost just did it for me.

Pimm’s is the perfect session cocktail, it’s relatively low in alcohol, which means you can sip on these all afternoon before they really catch up with you (but be forewarned because they will eventually)!

With summer just around the corner, I had the idea of taking that strawberry flavored Pimm’s and turning it into a frozen slush! Sadly, here in the States we aren’t so lucky to enjoy the flavored varieties, but it doesn’t mean we can’t flavor the drink up ourselves.

The best part about this Strawberry Pimm’s Slush is that all it requires is 4 ingredients – minus the garnish – and 5 minutes to prepare. Just toss everything into your blender and you are good to go for a summer barbecue or lazy day relaxing on your porch.

This big batch cocktail is perfect for sharing amongst friends or keep a batch stashed in your freezer to pour yourself a glass after a long day at work.

Oh, in case you were really curious, I did manage to find myself a bottle of the Vodka Cup on my journeys!
