Before each of us drifts off into a tryptophan coma tomorrow afternoon, I wanted to take a moment to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.
I hope that wherever you are, whomever you are with and whatever you eat, you enjoy your day and take a moment to reflect back on what you are thankful for.
If you don’t mind indulging me, I’d like to take a moment to give thanks for what I have in my life.
I’m thankful for my husband, he’s my best friend and without him there would be a hole in my heart.
I am thankful for my job.
I am thankful for my relative good health, for what issues I may have, there are people much worse off than me and without the healthcare that I have available.
I am thankful for my family, we may not see each other as much as we should, but I know they are always there.
I am thankful for my in-laws, not everyone ends up with a loving set as I did.
I am thankful for my group of friends. They are the best.
I am thankful for my dog, he brings joy to my life every day.
Finally, I’m thankful for you, my readers, whomever you are. For without you, I’d be writing to no one.
One last note, I’m sure you’ve noticed by now that I have a new look and you are also wondering where all my old posts went?!? I’m currently in transition from hosting on Tubmlr to the new page. My most amazing and talented web designer, Larissa Marie, is still moving everything over. I ask for patience in the next week or two while she finalizes everything and I update the links.
Happy Thanksgiving, eat lots of turkey!
