Happy errr Saturday! Well someone lost track of time this week and that someone would be me.
I hope you’ll forget the mishap this week but boy what a week it has been. It started off in Florida – yes Florida soon home to impending doom of Irma. I was visiting my parents, a scheduled visit that eventually turned into hurricane prep. I was glad I was there to help them but part of me was sad I had to leave them and they couldn’t come back to NY with me or I couldn’t stay. Unfortunately work called and customers needed their cookies and other baked goods for the week. After a bit of a delay and running until practically the butt end of a flight time on our plan I made it back to NY late Wednesday to get up at the crack of dawn for a marathon production session Thursday and Friday! Midway through whisking lemon curd and melting chocolate – yes at the same time it dawned on me that I never typed up this weeks weekly meal plan!
So forgive me, it’s happening on Saturday but sadly I know many of you reside in Florida and it’s possible you may not even be able to cook for awhile. I’ll be think of you dear readers and I hope that you survive this storm safely and with as a little damage as possible. For the rest of you, here we go for the week ahead!
