Show Off Your Doggone Funny Dog

This post and contest is sponsored by Merial, a world-leading animal health company, providing a comprehensive range of products to enhance the health and well-being of pets, but all opinions are my own. Please see below for additional disclosure.

I love spoiling my dog, Sir Pugsley. I even go so far as to make sure he’s as comfortable as we are, that means making sure he’s not too hot or too cold and always leaving lights on when we go out. Plus the extra pillow “comfort” stations we build up for him on the couch.

Sir Pugsley Relaxing

Our dog is a funny guy, he loves to be comfortable and it’s mostly so he can sit and watch TV with us. Sometimes he dozes off and other times he just stares intently at the television. Any time some villain or someone who seems like a bad guy comes on the barking starts! He jumps off from his comfort spot and runs right up to the TV. Now, I don’t know if you’ve ever seen a pug bark but it’s funny business! Our television watching may never be in peace again, but at least we will always have a giggle!

So when I saw the NexGard® (afoxolaner) “Doggone Funny” program I knew I had to participate! From now until October 21, 2015, consumers can share the funny things that their dog does and that they do for their dog on Instagram® or Twitter® using the #DoggoneContest hashtag or watch the NexGard “Doggone Funny” video. For every social action taken, Merial, the maker of NexGard, will sponsor $1, up to $100,000, to help place more Canine Companions for Independence® assistance dogs with deserving individuals in need. Visit www.doggonecontest.com to learn more about the program. The top three #DoggoneContest social media posts from dog owners will receive $5,000 from Merial, the maker of NexGard.

Merial partnered with bloggers like me for its “Doggone Funny” program. As part of this program, I received compensation for my time. They did not tell me what to say about any product mentioned in these posts. Merial believes that consumers and bloggers are free to form their own opinions and share them in their own words.
