The Girl In The Little Red Kitchen Bake Shop & 1st Annual Reader Survey!

Lots to cover today! We talk about the opening of The Girl In The Little Red Kitchen Bake Shop and my 1st Annual Reader Survey! Let’s get to it!

2014 Reader Survey

Today’s post is jammed pack full of information, so I’m just going to jump right into it!

Have you noticed a couple of changes around here?  Perhaps of the cookie variety?

No? Not yet? Well that’s okay, because you will learn all about it right now.

Before that happens though, let’s talk about my first ever reader survey!  As I start to plan out my fall and winter calendars I’d love to know what you think and what you would like to see!  This blog is for you, the readers and it is important to me to be creating new recipes that interest you.   Your feedback today helps make me a better blogger.

The survey only takes a couple of minutes to fill out and it’s completely anonymous, so feel free to be as honest as you like about what you love about The Girl In The Little Red Kitchen and what things you’d like to see.

You can access the survey by clicking here and it will be open from today until next Friday, September 19th! I’ll post the results soon after that!

Now on to more fun things, like cookies!

You might have seen my Kickstarter announcements back in May or perhaps you are a new reader and missed it all, but after many many months of hard work my online Bake Shop is officially open for business!

This is a project that I am so proud of and have put many long hours towards.  Recipe testing, business planning, researching, etc. . . it takes a lot to start a business but all I really want to do is bring you some really good cookies delivered straight to your door.

Just like the recipes that I create here for you, these cookies are crafted with extreme love and care and with exceptional ingredients.  All the cookies are baked with mostly organic ingredients and the chocolate is high quality, fair trade.   As soon as they are cooled, they are sealed up and ready to be mailed out the next day.  What you get is a fresh product that tastes like it could have come out of your own oven – without the mess!

How do I get to the bake shop? It’s easy and there are three ways to get there! You can type in girlinthelittleredkitchen.com/shop directly and see this:

Or if you are visiting through the normal URL you can click in two spots:

Wait! There is more though! Let’s say you are reading a blog post.  Perhaps my Cinnamon Dulce de Leche Spritz Sandwich Cookies  and you suddenly get a hankering for cookies but you don’t really bake or you don’t have the ingredients  on hand?  What to do? Oh look, you can order cookies! While you are at it, you remember your anniversary is next week and your moms birthday is the week after.  You haven’t purchased a gift yet! Problem solved, right here!

Buy them cookies, everyone loves cookies.

You know who else loves cookies? Friends, family, bosses, clients, dog walkers, cat sitters, babysitters, teachers.  You get my point.  Cookies make the perfect gift for everyone and a treat for yourself as well!

Susan, I’m soooooo excited for you! And so incredibly proud of you. I’m echoing Courtney’s comment here but you HAVE worked your butt off to achieve this and I totally agree: you and your cookies are going to be a hit. PEOPLE! I’ve eaten this woman’s cookies and can attest that they are ridiculously delicious and addictive. If you know what’s good for you, you will order many many dozens from Susan!
