This post is sponsored by Circulon.  As always all opinions are my own.

When we talk about summer cooking there always seem to be two options – the first being get out of your kitchen and onto the grill to beat the heat.  The second is every other option that doesn’t involve turning on your stove, so basically salads and sandwiches – you know general summer fare.

What about a third option that, at least in my own kitchen has been overlooked until recently, what about an option that cooks food so quickly there isn’t even time for the kitchen to get hot?

Have you figured it out yet? I’m talking about stir-frying of course! I don’t know what it is but when I’m bringing out the wok, in my mind it means Chinese food is getting made.  Why can’t a stir-fry encompass all types of cuisine?

Circulon is hosting the #SummerofStirFry and this is such an awesome time to really get out of the stir-fry comfort zone.

With so much great produce just starting to come into season and the CSA’s going into full swing, making a stir-fry for dinner is the perfect way to savor every bite.

All dinner takes is a bit of prep but when you have easy to chop up vegetables like asparagus, sweet corn and cherry tomatoes it can be done in about 5 minutes.  Choosing steak for your protein means it cooks quickly and you can accommodate each persons preference for doneness by just cooking their share longer.

Each bite of this stir-fry is a little bit of summer and you can enjoy those summer evenings since dinner will be on the table in 30 minutes.

Oh can we talk about clean up?

One pot. Enough said.  The covered wok from Circulon heats evenly, is nonstick, has two handles and I’m not kidding when I say clean up was a breeze.

So how about that recipe? You can hop over to Circulon’s website to take a look at it but before you go make sure to enter the giveaway for your very own covered wok! You are going to need it to make it!

I haven’t stir-fried beef yet! Adding this recipe to my to make list! Our family loves chicken and fresh veggies! We especially love squash, cabbage and peppers!

I really don’t do stir-fry since most recipes have too many ingredients. Your recipe is easy and looks delicious and I would have to use a large skillet.

Love to stir-fry. My wok is old and well seasoned… but something newer would be nice for when company comes by. Loads of veggies and a little chicken, pork, beef and even fresh fish make a great stir-fry.

I love to stir-fry fresh veggies from the garden. The rinsing and chopping takes more time than the actual cooking!

I’ve actually never stir fried, and have never owned a wok! I’d love to learn how, though! Such a delicious and healthy way to whip up a meal. Thanks!

We eat stir fry at least twice a week. Since I don’t buy boxed or processed foods this is the best way to bring out the true flavor and goodness in all foods. Stir frying food is such a nice alternative to baked or crockpot style food. I used to have a wok many years ago, but now I just use a frying pan. The frying pan doesn’t have enough room to get a good stir goin’, know what I mean.
