Summer’s End

Oh, I know.  Summer really doesn’t end until September 22nd but everyone knows that Labor Day weekend is the unofficial end to summer.

The days start to get shorter, nights cooler, summer dresses go away and pants come out for the fall.

Although I love fall, so I’m not really complaining about the change of seasons.  I did enjoy my long weekend, what did you do over holiday?

Here is a little recap of my weekend.

Afternoon Tea at the Plaza Hotel:

A pub crawl Friday night with the pug that tired him out so much he ended up like this Saturday night during a Mad Men marathon.

A beautiful batch of Gazpacho was made (recipe to follow in a later post).

The TARDIS landed in Brooklyn! I’m still searching for the Doctor.

And finally at day at the NY Botanical Gardens walking through Mario Batali’s Edible Garden and dinner on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx.
