I’m so excited to bring you something special for this weeks edition of our Dinner Diva’s weekly meal plan! Starting this week we have our first of many themed weeks! It’s officially summer season and with school out, a lot of people off of work the dinner routine can very greatly than the other nine months of the year. To keep things exciting and perhaps, a little bit easier we’re implementing some themed weeks throughout the summer.
This week we are kicking things off with barbecue week! It’s the perfect way to kick off summer when many of us no longer have the desire to cook indoors but still need to get dinner on the table every evening. Not to mention, many of these recipes are perfect for the upcoming 4 of of July holiday or Canada Day or Bastille Day! Let’s just celebrate all the summer holidays! For many the term barbecue can mean many things – in the South it’s a cooking process for me growing up in New York/Long Island it not only meant we are going to cook something on the grill but we were also going to have people over for a party, outside and cook things on the grill. Whatever the word means to you just know it comes with a lot of good food!
New to our meal plan? This is how it works: I’ve joined together with a few of my favorite bloggers to bring you a weeks worth of dinner ideas! The concept is easy, every Friday check back here (or your email!) to find a new weekly meal plan consisting of 5 healthy-ish seasonal dinners and 2 extras – which can range from sides, desserts, drinks etc. . .
