It’s that time of year folks!

Cookie exchanges are in full swing and I know all of you are gearing up for your holiday baking.  If there is one dessert that I cannot resist, it is a cookie.  I don’t know what it is about cookies, but I love them, any type, chewy, crispy, nutty, chocolately.  If you put a cookie in front of me, I will not turn it away. 

That is why I signed up to participate in two cookie-themed events for the month of December.  The first one, some of you might be participating in yourselves.   It is the The Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap and I got my batch out just under the wire.

The #fbcookieswap teamed up hundreds of fellow food bloggers and we each got three matches to send one dozen cookies to.  On December 12th, we are to post the recipe of the cookie we sent to our matches and if we like, the cookies we received in return.  So far I’ve gotten two packages and both have been delicious. 

The next cookie event is on December 18th and if you live in NYC it will grant you the opportunity to try one of my cookies in person! 

I’m talking about The Cookie Takedown, hosted by Matt Timms, which will be held at The Bell House in Brooklyn at 3pm.  Tickets are $15 and limited so pick one up soon!
